MRGKSS works at the intersection of mobilisation, capacity building, and solidarity to uplift the lives of domestic workers. From building leadership to engage with the government, our efforts are rooted in collective strength and commitment to justice.
Bringing Workers Together, Building Solidarity
MRGKSS hosts state- and regional-level conventions that bring together domestic workers from across Maharashtra. These gatherings create space to share lived experiences, build solidarity, and shape collective strategies. We also lead public campaigns and awareness drives that spotlight the everyday struggles and demands of domestic workers, from fair wages and safe working conditions to legal recognition and the dignity of labour.
Engaging with Government
MRGKSS regularly engages with legislators, government departments, and the media to ensure domestic workers' issues are visible in public policy. We do this through meetings, policy briefings, and consultations at various levels.

Building Knowledge
and Capacity
MRGKSS's programmes empower domestic workers and their leaders with knowledge of labour rights, social welfare schemes, and policy tools. We focus on leadership development, legal literacy, and community organising to strengthen long-term resilience and autonomy.
One Movement, Many Voices
MRGKSS brings together domestic worker collectives, civil society allies, legal professionals, and advocacy groups to work in coordination. This unified action allows us to combine resources, strategies, and voices to create a greater impact.
